Cahuenga Pass
Your Neighbor :: Your Realtor
My actual hood. In the Hills, right between Hollywood and Studio City is where I call home and I think it's one of the best untold secrets of LA neighborhoods. Within a short, cheap uber ride you get exactly where you need to be in the middle of all the greatest restaurants and nightclubs Hollywood has to offer or you’re relaxing with interesting people in a beautiful community like Studio City. A neighborhood full of character homes and lovely streets, Cahuenga Pass has a lot to offer and its proximity to the studios is a plus for industry employees. Let’s not forget, we are also home to some great walkable restaurants including Mercado, Spit's Döner Kebabs, Vegetable, Joe's Falafel, and Tokyo Cube. On top of that, we get special access to certain Universal Studio Events with our Global Partner Pass, including discounts and free parking passes to run over to CityWalk for a quick bite or to watch a show at the beautifully remodeled Universal Cinema.
- My Favorite Spots -
Tokyo Cube - I love this place. You walk in and immediately feel welcome. They remember who you are and even remember your dietary restrictions! And on Sunday, which is when you’re most likely to run into me since I’m starving after open houses, it’s all day Happy Hour! Such a good deal. My favorites - the fresh green roll, crispy tofu, and crispy spicy tuna!
Mercado's Happy Hour - With a delicious assortment of small plates and cocktails this is a must try! The happy hour is the best! You must not miss the carnitas or margaritas. You truly cannot go wrong.
Joe's Falafel - If you are a fan of falafel, I promise - Joe's has fantastic falafel. Which is probably why he has been voted one of the best restaurants in the country. It's also a small family owned and operated business, my favorite kind. If you get to know Joe, you cannot help but love him. If you are a wrap fan, make sure to upgrade and get it on the freshly baked Lafa bread - huge difference!
Lake Hollywood Park - An untold secret for dog lovers, this is the happiest place on earth for pup owners. An illegal, off-leash dog park just below the Hollywood sign and just above the Lake Hollywood Reservoir. This lush flat piece of grass is our saving grace in LA; local dog owners gather here everyday after work hours and like all proud parents do - watch, laugh and talk about their dogs. It truly is a dog/lovers heaven. Just keep in mind, if the rangers come. Put your dog on a leash and run! PS: Avoid the weekends; google maps directs all the tourist straight here to view the Hollywood sign.
